As part of a class project, I designed a fall-themed greeting card to express gratitude to Vincennes University alumni for their support, and my design was selected to be sent out to the alumni. The emphasis was on conveying appreciation while featuring the branding of the Vincennes University Foundation & Alumni Association and a fall look. All graphics utilized in this project are copyright-free.
Outside of the Card
For the entire design of the card I wanted to give it a nostalgic, old distressed fall look. I started off creating a old looking paper texture and ended up blending different fall elements into the card with color adjustments to contribute to that fall look.
Inside of the Card
Continuing the fall theme and distressed aesthetic, the inside of the card maintains a nostalgic look. I continued with the fall elements, complemented by a statement meant to express gratitude to Vincennes University alumni. I also strategically incorporated motion to guide the viewer's attention toward key elements, such as the text and signatures.
On the right side of the card, space is dedicated space for the signatures of the Vincennes University Presidents and other signatures.
